Thanks to Ferry Morse's home soil test I can now PROUDLY say I own terrible soil!
It was really easy to use and here are the pics of my soil content.
My soil is very Alkaline. I will have to use sulfur or dolomitic lime to help it become more acidic. It has NO Nitrogen, very low Phosphorus and low Potash. It is basically the most useless

substance ever. Therefore I have been devising a plan to help rebuild some of the soil and then I am just going to create and keep the rest of my plants in boxes.

To rebuild the soil I will be planting the beans and other nitrogen building crops. The one I really want to grow is Crotalaria Juncea or Sunn Hemp. I can just imagine the hundreds of boats that boat in my backyard will be calling in my hemp as something else so maybe I will do cowpeas instead. Both of these products can be used as green manures or nitrogen-fixing cover crops. They are usually legumes of sorts or other plants that are not often a major food source and can just be cropped up and added directly into the soil after the season is finished.
I have started planning out my garden layout for the rest of summer and winter. I'm attempting to keep better notes.
My friend Tal just sent me the coolest idea I have seen for repurposing rain gutters.

Since it hasn't rained AT ALL here in Cocoa Beach I might as well repurpose them.
After reading some of the posts on it though apparently it can mess up the siding on your house so people have just put them in between two poles like a trellis which seem to work just as well.
I also have to think how the fertilizer works in this sort of situation and how do you maintain healthy water condition and how the root system doesn't over grow this whole thing. I guess these could all be answered by someone who is a practiced gardener.
Speaking of things growing, lettuce is DONE here until late summer/fall and I attempted to sow some Spinach seeds but nothing has come up. The pumpkin seeds are also yet to be seen.
On another note, the sunflowers, marigolds and zinnias have gone crazy. Maybe I will become a flower farmer instead.
