Tomato Seed Saving

My friend Barbara brought over some delicious Lemon Drop Tomatoes which prompted me, of course, to want to grow them. Tomatoes take a bit more time then other seeds and there are tons of different ways to save them I picked one. They are currently drying out and I will plant some in August and hope they come up.

Tomato Seed Saving Instructions:
1 Plastic Bottle

1) Cut the plastic bottle in half.
2) Put the seeds in the bottle.
3) Add Water.
From garden
4) Let them sit for 2-4 days somewhere sunny. They will begin to ferment and all the goopy stuff surrounding them will come off and start to float to the top. You can add a bit more water if needed.
5) Pour them out onto a paper towel of some sort or wax paper whatever works for you.
From garden
6) Dry seeds - when they are dry they will move freely about on the paper.

Voila! IDK if this will work - it should...but I promise to let you know when I plant the seeds.
